Cirque de Corazón: The 10-Year Anniversary Event for the Hunt School of Nursing
In honor of the 10-year anniversary of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso (TTUHSC El Paso) Hunt School of Nursing, TTUHSC El Paso is hosting a one-of-a-kind outdoor event: Cirque de Corazon. This celebratory gathering on May 6, 2022 will be held at the new Medical Sciences Building II lawn and feature amazing dining, entertainment, and activities to commemorate the Hunt School of Nursing’s commitment to higher education, health care in the Paso del Norte region, and addressing the critical shortage of nurses in West Texas.
This scholarship endowment is part of the 10-year anniversary celebration and aims to ensure that nursing students in West Texas have the resources they need to pursue their education without financial burden. The Hunt School of Nursing has worked hard to ensure that nurses from West Texas have the education and training they need to provide quality care, and this endowment will be a critical resource for those pursuing a career in nursing. The scholarship endowment will help cover tuition expenses, allowing students to focus on their studies and making sure that the Paso del Norte region continues to have the trained and experienced nurses it needs.
Additionally, the endowment will serve as a lasting legacy to honor the hard work of our nurse heroes over the past 10 years. The Hunt School of Nursing is proud to be part of this critical effort in providing educational support for aspiring nurses in West Texas. This scholarship endowment is just one small part of the Hunt School’s commitment to its students and celebrating the successes of our nurse heroes.
Cirque de Corazon is presented by Lone Star Title and will bring people together for a night full of fun and entertainment while raising money to support scholarships for nurse heroes in the region. All proceeds from this event will go towards a permanent scholarship endowment and help provide nurses with the training and financial support they need to work in West Texas.
We look forward to continuing to support students in their pursuit of a career in nursing and making sure they have the resources they need to succeed. Thank you for joining us in celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the Hunt School of Nursing and our ongoing efforts to reduce the nursing shortage in West Texas. Together, we can make a difference!
