Casino Night by El Paso Opera was a tremendous success! Guests attended the May 6, 2022 event and experienced the thrills of gambling. Everyone had a fantastic time playing classic games like blackjack, poker and roulette. The venue was filled with laughter as guests enjoyed the unlimited dessert bar and the wide selection of mouth-watering treats. To top it off, there were raffle prizes with rewards. Casino Night certainly lived up to its billing and everyone in attendance had an enjoyable night!
This mission is made evident by El Paso Opera’s newest undertaking, #CurbsideOpera. In response to the COVID-19 related closures of last year, El Paso Opera developed #CurbsideOpera, a program designed to bring operatic performances into the community at large. This brilliant idea allows their mobile opera ‘stage’ to make its way through neighborhoods across the city and bring joy and solace to those who feel most isolated.
Not only does this provide an excellent service to the local residents, but it also speaks volumes about the organization’s commitment to making opera accessible and engaging for everyone. Truly, El Paso Opera is an exemplary example of how arts organizations can be both maturing cultural institutions as well as vital forces in their own communities.

Their support enabled us to host a fabulous night of entertaining and exciting festivities, from playing casino games, running Roulette wheels, shuffling cards, and rolling dice.
