The Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home, dedicated to providing help and support for families in crisis all across the El Paso community, put together a virtual Walk/Run for Families in Crisis event last Saturday as a way to give back during times of uncertainty. With their top priority being the health and wellbeing of both supporters and participants, they took the necessary precautions to ensure that no one would be put at risk by deciding to make it completely online so that everyone could walk or run in their own safe spaces. With their change of plans came an imaginative new idea, meant for the safety of the public, that truly displayed their proactive nature in keeping things running smoothly even during these hard times.
The Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home has been a beacon of hope for the El Paso community for over 60 years. Without regard to race, religion, culture, gender or financial condition, this charitable institution works to support children and families in times of difficulty by providing residential care, foster care, adoption placement/referrals and programs to build children’s self-esteem and life skills. As a 501(c)3 organization, the Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those they serve.
The Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home is incredibly thankful for the assistance provided by their community in order to help children and families that are facing difficult challenges. All of the proceeds generated from this event will go directly towards funding meals, services, and other necessities for those families and children who are in crisis. This support allows them to continue providing a safe and nurturing environment for those who need it. With this generosity, they are able to make a positive impact on the lives of many. This is a truly admirable organization that serves as an example of how we can all come together to make a difference!
