GivingTuesdaySpark is an important initiative that strives to empower youth to create positive change in their communities. Through service and generosity, the program looks to engage young people from all walks of life and give them the power to make a difference. By utilizing technology and social media platforms, it will be able to reach more people and amplify the impact of its message.
Dante Plush leads GivingTuesday‘s effort for engaging GenZ. He designs programs and campaigns that help young people leverage GivingTuesday as a way to get involved in social issues that are important to them – from education to racial equity. As a teacher and stand-up comedian, Dante has a Master’s degree in Educational Technology and uses his expertise to help at-risk students succeed. In addition, he serves on the junior board of the Renaissance Youth Center, further demonstrating his passion for creating meaningful change through the power of giving.
As a part of this program, GivingTuesdaySpark will provide support and resources to help young people become leaders of change in their communities. It will provide youth with the opportunity to learn about philanthropy, participate in hands-on projects, and develop meaningful relationships with those around them- all through the use of technology. In addition, the program will offer ways for young people to connect their work with others and share it on social media to amplify their impact.
Together, we can spark a movement of youth-driven philanthropy and generosity across the world. Through GivingTuesdaySpark, we can learn how to work together to create lasting change. By engaging in philanthropic activities and learning about the power of giving, we can become compassionate citizens who are dedicated to making a positive difference. Let’s make this world a better place – one spark at a time!
