El Paso is a city with rich culture and history, and one of the most popular activities in El Paso is Lucha Libre. We are so thankful for the chance to collaborate with Pop-A-Shot to help support Project Amistad’s event Lucha Libre: A Night Championing the Underserved. This community event celebrated the city’s culture and gave back to those in need.
Pop-A-Shot, founded in 1976, is a leader in electronic basketball shooting games with a number of firsts in the industry. Its innovation has revolutionized game play for arcade versions, infrared scoring, and steel frames. Through their donation to Project Amistad, they have proven to be a dedicated partner of the El Paso region’s nonprofit community.
Project Amistad has been providing support and advocacy for the elderly, persons-at-risk, and persons with disabilities since 1976. They ensure that their clients are treated with respect and dignity while helping them lead rewarding lives. By hosting Lucha Libre: A Night Championing the Underserved, they were able to bring people of all ages together for an evening of fun and celebration.
We are so grateful to Pop-A-Shot for their generous donation and continued commitment to our community. We believe that by working together, we can continue improving the lives of those in need in El Paso and beyond. Thank you Pop-A-Shot for your support!
